2025 three-star linebacker prospect Brenden Anes flipped his commitment to Tennessee football on Thursday.
“After a lot of prayer and conversations with my family, I will be stepping away from my commitment to Wisconsin and am committing to the University of Tennessee,” Anes announced.
Anes was committed to Wisconsin since Jan. 22.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker prospect is from Fred J. Page High School in Franklin, Tennessee.
Anes ranks as the No. 584 overall prospect in the class of 2025. He also ranks as the No. 61 linebacker prospect and No. 20 player in Tennessee, according to 247Sports.
Tennessee has 24 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class: Quarterback George MacIntyre, defensive lineman Ethan Utley, tight end Jack Vandorselaer, cornerback Dylan Lewis, running back Justin Baker, wide receiver Joakim Dodson, cornerback Tyler Redmond, safety Sidney Walton, wide receiver Radarious Jackson, offensive lineman Antoni Kade Ogumoro, edge Jayden Loftin, offensive lineman Nic Moore, defensive lineman Charles House, cornerback Tre Poteat, edge Mariyon Dye, wide receiver Travis Smith Jr., linebacker Christian Gass and safety Lagonza Hayward, tight end Da’Saahn Brame, defensive lineman Darrion Smith, offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. and linebacker Jaedon Harmon, cornerback Onis Konanbanny and Anes.
