Georgia women’s basketball (5-4) has had a rough start to its season.

From Game 1, they’ve been without key transfer Nyah Leveretter. From Game 2, they’ve been without key freshman Mia Woolfolk. Both have undisclosed injuries with day-to-day recovery timelines. They’re also still missing Savannah Henderson, but Fatima Diakhate has made her return.

The Lady Bulldogs’ last showing was on Sunday, Dec. 1, where they fell by a bucket to Hampton in overtime. They’re still over the .500 mark with a month left until SEC play begins, but challenges are still on the horizon, starting with Virginia Tech (6-2) on Wednesday. Tech has only lost to two Big Ten teams — Michigan and Iowa — so far.
