After an undefeated 3-0 start to the season, the Alabama Crimson Tide will not play this weekend due to a bye week.
Instead, the Crimson Tide will continue their preparation for the Georgia Bulldogs, who are set to come to Tuscaloosa in Week 5 for what will likely be a top five matchup between two of college football’s best.
With the bye week having arrived as well, it provides an opportunity to take a step back, and truly look at just what we have seen so far from the Crimson Tide. Along with this, it also provides an opportunity to look ahead to the remainder of the year at Alabama’s remaining games on the schedule to see just how challenging those matchups could end up being.
So, with that thought in mind, here is a prediction for every Alabama game across the remainder of the 2024 regular season, starting with Week 5 against Georgia.
vs. Georgia Bulldogs – 9/28
Prediction: Alabama 27, Georgia 24
Alabama’s first game after the bye week, the home showdown with the Georgia Bulldogs in Week 5 is still the Crimson Tide’s toughest in Tuscaloosa this season. This game should be close between two top five teams, with Alabama coming away with a close victory at home.
at Vanderbilt Commodores – 10/5
Prediction: Alabama 48, Vanderbilt 10
Alabama’s first road game in SEC play should still be a big victory over Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt will simply not be able to keep up with the Crimson Tide offensively.
vs. South Carolina Gamecocks – 10/12
Prediction: Alabama 38, South Carolina 17
South Carolina has impressed with their performance at times so far this season, but they will still be big underdogs coming into Tuscaloosa. Expect a win for the Crimson Tide here, potentially by a wider margin than most expect at home.
at Tennessee Volunteers – 10/19
Prediction: Tennessee 38, Alabama 37
After three weeks, there is still belief that Alabama could drop one road game this season, with this October 19 trip in Knoxville starting to look the most likely. The Tennessee Volunteers have been one of college football’s most impressive teams so far this season, and could potentially give the Crimson Tide problems with this game in Neyland.
Prediction: Alabama 30, Missouri 20
Alabama should bounce back here with a home victory over Missouri. However, the Tigers are a good team, and with this likely being a Top 25 matchup, is a game that the Crimson Tide cannot take lightly by any means.
Prediction: Alabama 30, LSU 24
Similar to Tennessee previously, this is a road game to watch for that could be challenging for the Crimson Tide. However, Alabama should still be favored in Baton Rouge, and come away with a close victory here.
vs. Mercer Bears – 11/16
Prediction: Alabama 55, Mercer 7
This will be a big victory for the Crimson Tide. Expect Alabama to pull away from the Bears early.
at Oklahoma Sooners – 11/23
Prediction: Alabama 33, Oklahoma 20
Alabama’s final road game of the regular season will be a tough one in Norman against what will likely be a Top 25 Oklahoma Sooners team at the time. This should still be an Alabama win, but it could be by a close margin.
Prediction: Alabama 38, Auburn 17
The Auburn Tigers have had some troubles at times across the first three weeks of the season, but that will still not affect the outcome of an Alabama win here. Alabama will be big favorites at home, and will extend their Iron Bowl winning streak in Tuscaloosa in the process.
