UFC 310 pre-event facts: Clay Guida looks to avoid dubious all-time record

The 14th and final numbered UFC event of 2024 takes place Saturday with UFC 310 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card is on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and ESPN+.

In the main event, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja (28-5 MMA, 12-3 UFC) returns to put his title on the line for the third time against octagon newcomer and former RIZIN FF champion Kai Asakura (21-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

Pantoja is one of five undisputed UFC flyweight champions.

Rakhmonov’s six-fight UFC stoppage streak is longest among active fighters in the company.

Rakhmonov’s five submission victories in UFC welterweight competition are tied for fourth-most in divisional history behind Gunnar Nelson (seven), Demian Maia (six) and Chris Lytle (six).

Rakhmonov is one of 15 fighters in UFC history to earn a knockout stemming from a spinning wheel kick. He accomplished the feat at UFC Fight Night 200.
