PISCATAWAY – Rutgers football’s regular season is over, but there’s still plenty to come over the next few weeks and months.
While the Scarlet Knights continue to prepare for their bowl game – they’ll learn where they’re headed on Sunday – players will have decisions to make about whether they’ll suit up for the game, while others will be deciding whether they enter their name into the NCAA transfer portal, which opens Dec. 9 and closes Dec. 28 for this particular window.
In the current climate of college football, the potential for player movement is inevitable, and that also includes the possibility of the Scarlet Knights bringing in transfers from other programs.
And of course, some players will have the chance to declare for the NFL Draft.
