The final availability report for Saturday night’s game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooners has been released, which means that we now know the official playing status for Jovantae Barnes.
After being listed as “questionable” since the initial report Wednesday night, Barnes is now listed as a “game time decision” for Saturday night against the Crimson Tide.
The junior running back is currently Oklahoma’s leading rusher for the year, having amassed a total of 577 yards and five touchdowns on a team-high 122 attempts. Barnes has also hauled in 17 receptions so far this season for 123 yards and another touchdown.
After the junior, Oklahoma’s next leading rushers are running back Taylor Tatum and quarterback Jackson Arnold, both of which will be key names to watch for in the running game Saturday night should Barnes be unavailable.
Alabama vs. Oklahoma will officially kickoff Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on either ABC or ESPN+.
