Ohio State women’s basketball has secured its first top recruit from the Class of 2025, Dasha Biriuk.
Biriuk, the No. 73 recruit according to ESPN’s 2025 Hoop Gurlz rankings, announced her commitment to the Buckeyes on Instagram Friday. The announcement came two weeks after Biriuk and her family made an official visit to Columbus.
The 6-foot-1 forward is attending The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee and selected Ohio State over Mississippi State University and Vanderbilt University.
During the 2023-24 season, Biriuk averaged 17.9 points and 5.3 rebounds.
