NASCAR Fans Melt Over As Rick Hendrick & Co. Drop Adorable Halloween Surprise

by admin

The spookiest holiday of the year, Halloween brings out the creativity among the NASCAR stars and their families. For years, NASCAR drivers have been sharing their Halloween costumes on social media, and this year has been different. While creativity is subjective, some costumes are instant hits, and some not so much.

This year, Hendrick Motorsports decided to do something different. They did their research on all four drivers and shared their costume designs from their childhood days. Fans are often treated to throwback schemes on the racecars, but a throwback on Halloween costumes was indeed a fresh idea. “Check out these Halloween throwbacks!” Rick Hendrick’s team shared this on Instagram along with adorable pictures of the drivers.

Alex Bowman was dressed as a tiger and even had his face painted in black whiskers. He had the cutout mask mounted on his head; he sure bags the award for the most innocent tiger ever. Chase Elliott opted to dress like his favorite superhero, Batman. He had it all, right from the face mask to the black drape.

William Byron dressed up a Ricky Bobby from the Talladega night. It looked like he had a custom-made fire suit that looked identical to that of the one Ricky wore in the movie. The best part about his costume was the curly hair wig. Last but not least, Kyle Larson was dressed up as a clown. He had an inflated clown costume, and it looked like he was about to jump in a midget car with the scenery in his background.

This Halloween throwback photo dump was a sneaky surprise by Rick Hendrick and the HMS team. Needless to say, the fans loved this post and couldn’t help but share what they felt about the creative costume designs.

Fans react to HMS driver’s Halloween costume throwback

Kyle Larson couldn’t help but click his Halloween costume photo near a racetrack. There was a winged sprint car in the frame of his photo. And it looked like he was preparing for a race event with multiple trailers parked behind him. Highlight the same a fan replied, “Of course Kyle is still at a track 😂💙”

Batman is arguably the greatest superhero ever. While the modern era has seen the likes of Iron Man and Captain America take over popular culture, Batman is just evergreen. Chase Elliott had an eye for excellence and supremacy, and it looks like he’s implemented a few traits from his Halloween character to his racing. “Now I FINALLY understand why Chase is always voted the favorite driver…he’s Batman 🦇 !!! 😂”

Given how Larson has always been passionate about racing since his childhood days, a few fans expected to dress him like a race car driver. Jeff Gordon from Hendrick Motorsports or Dale Jr., something along those lines, but a clown wasn’t something this fan expected from the HMS driver. “I was expecting Larson in a Gordon suit never a clown suit 😆”

If Hendrick Motorsports didn’t tag the respective drivers, it would’ve been a pretty engagement exercise to identify who was who. While Larson and Byron’s picks were easy, the same cannot be said for Elliott and Bowman. This race fan had a hard time believing that Alex Bowman was the one dressed like a tiger. “Alex Bowman cracked me up. I was like, who is this NASCAR driver I was like oh it’s Alex Bowman.”

It is indeed wholesome to see the younger version of the drivers who have now grown up to be fierce competitors. This sentiment was shared by this user on Instagram who wrote, “They were all cuties when they were little especially chase and alex.”
