Mike Perry, current BKFC star and UFC veteran, was arrested Saturday in his home state of Florida on two charges, including driving under the influence.

Records from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office show that Perry, 33, was arrested at 1:04 a.m on Oct. 12 in Claremont, Florida. No details have been released regarding how he was arrested or his physical state at the time. He was booked at 4:36 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, and also with refusing to sign a citation requiring a court appearance. Both are second degree misdemeanors.

Perry was released at 9:41 a.m. after paying $1,500 total bond ($1000 for the DUI, $500 for refusing to sign the citation). His next court date is scheduled for Oct. 30 at 8:00 a.m. Penalties for committing a second degree misdemeanor in Florida can include up to 60 days jail time and a fine of no more than $500.

Perry has risen to become the face of bare-knuckle boxing after joining BKFC in late 2021 following the completion of his UFC contract. In addition to defeating former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez in bare-knuckle, he has also dipped a toe into boxing, including this past summer when he lost to Jake Paul via sixth-round TKO. His last BKFC fight was in April at BKFC Knucklemania IV, which he won by knocking out Thiago Alves in the first round.
