The Southeastern Conference announced on Monday the kickoff time and broadcast venue for Florida football’s Week 12 battle inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium against the LSU Tigers. The Gators will get things going at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 in Gainesville and the game will be broadcast nationally on ABC.
The Orange and Blue are nearly knotted up in the all-time series against its long-time SEC rival, down just a half-game at 33-34-3 dating back to 1937. LSU has won the last five meetings, including the shoe-throw game in Gainesville back in 2020 that began a domino effect that still plagues the program.
The rivalry was played in Baton Rouge last fall where Florida fell in a 52-34 shootout, elevating quarterback Jayden Daniels into the Heisman Trophy picture following a historic performance. This year, the Gators are simply hoping that DJ Lawgway will be available to play and work some magic of his own.
Next up for Florida football
Florida will go on the road and face the Texas Longhorns in Austin on Saturday, Nov. 9. Kickoff is set for noon ET and will be broadcast on ABC.
