JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis will miss the remainder of the season with a torn meniscus in his left knee, head coach Doug Pederson said Monday.
Davis, who was hurt in the second half of the Jaguars’ 52-6 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, will undergo surgery and could need up to six months recovery time depending on the severity of the tear.
Davis has 20 catches for 239 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games this season. He also dropped two potential touchdown passes in the Jaguars’ Oct. 13 loss to the Chicago Bears in London.
He signed a three-year, $39 million contract, including $24 million guaranteed, with the Jaguars in March.
