ICYMI in Mets Land: Kodai Senga returns as Mets start NLDS at Phillies with Game 1 comeback win

Here’s what happened Saturday in Mets Land, in case you missed it…

Kodai Senga was happy to be back healthy as the Mets’ postseason magic continued, starting the NLDS at the Phillies with a 6-2 win in Game 1 where New York’s improbable comeback included a commendable bullpen effort.

After the game, reactions poured in, from SNY’s Gary Cohen and crew to people on both sides — Rob Thomson, Carlos Mendoza, Senga and David Peterson, Philadelphia players, and Brandon Nimmo and Mark Vientos.

Jeff McNeil is set to join the Mets’ taxi squad and resume baseball activities as he works his way back from injury and potentially rejoins the team.

– Speaking of moves, the Mets announced the NLDS roster with two new additions.
