Georgia women’s basketball is set to host Houston Friday night in Stegeman Coliseum, continuing their season-opening, four-game homestand.
The Lady Bulldogs and Cougars will tip off at 6 p.m.
The former is coming in off their largest victory margin since Nov. 16, 2022, when they beat Kennesaw State by 42 points (89-47). They were four points away from having a 100-point game for the first time since App State in 2021 and Woolfolk’s individual 18 points actually marked the most for a freshman in their debut since 2017’s Que Morrison.
The latter is coming in off a 2-point loss to Texas-Rio Grande Valley, despite Gigi Cooke and Kierra Merchant combining for 36 of the 68 points — a career-high 18 for Cooke. A missed Houston three-pointer in the final three seconds was what decided it.
