Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is returning to MMA after a layoff of almost three years when he takes on Renan Ferreira in the PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants Saturday at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Cameroonian Ngannou, who last fought in January 2022, comes in with a 17-3 record, while the Brazilian Ferreira brings a 13-3 record to the heavyweight superfight championship.
The fight before it features a pair of Brazilians, Cris Cyborg vs. Larissa Pacheco in a women’s featherweight superfight championship. There is also a Bellator middleweight championship fight between Johnny Eblen vs. Fabian Edwards.
