Former “Malcolm in the Middle” star Frankie Muniz has been chasing his racing dreams for a couple years now, and Tuesday marked a considerable milestone in that process.

Because, according to Muniz, he has landed a full-time NASCAR ride for 2025.

He shared the announcement on Instagram that he will drive for Reaume Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Muniz will drive the No. 33 Ford 150.

Muniz said he was “incredibly excited” to join the team.

“I don’t want to say it’s a long time coming, but this is a dream of mine forever,” he told People Magazine. “I grew up watching NASCAR. I was a huge fan, but it’s not something I necessarily thought that I’d ever get the opportunity to do.”

Muniz starred on “Malcolm in the Middle” from 2000-to-2006. He has a long list of film and television credits to his name, and he told People that he hasn’t entirely given up on acting but is focused currently on his career as a driver.

Muniz has run 22 races in the ARCA Menards Series with 12 top-10 finishes.

He also ran a pair of Craftsman Truck Series races for Reaume Brothers Racing this year.
