Nov. 18—Former Austin football star Quincy Crittendon put on a show this past weekend.
Crittendon, who is now the starting quarterback for Samford University, went 34 for 50 passing for 340 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as he led the Bulldogs to a 36-13 win over Chattanooga.
So far this season, Crittendon has complete 257 of 359 passes for 2,486 yards and 17 touchdowns with nine interceptions. He also has rushed for three touchdowns.
Samford will close out its regular season this Saturday at home against Western Carolina. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
