Donald Trump ‘making plans’ to attend Penn State-Ohio State football game | Report

The top-five matchup next week between No. 3 Penn State football and No. 4 Ohio State could potentially have a notable guest.

Ross Dellenger of Yahoo! Sports reported that former President Donald Trump is “making plans” to attend the Week 10 game between the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes, which will take place in Beaver Stadium.

The potential attendance would come just three days before Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Pennsylvania is considered an important swing state between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump attended an Alabama-Georgia game in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, earlier this season — a game that included the Bulldogs, the premier college football program of another swing state in Georgia. He also attended the Pittsburgh Steelers-New York Jets “Sunday Night Football” game last Sunday at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

The likely top-five matchup between Penn State and Ohio State is set for a noon kickoff and will air nationally on Fox. The game has potential major implications on the Big Ten Conference standings and the 12-team College Football Playoff.

This story will be updated.
