It was big day for Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark.

The No. 1 overall WNBA Draft pick received the fourth-most votes for Most Valuable Player and made her playoff debut against the Connecticut Sun.

Clark struggled, much like her teammates, in an 93-69 Game 1 loss, scoring just 11 points. The Fever shot just 40.3% from the field and 21.4% on 3-pointers.

DiJonai Carrington poked Clark in the right eye while playing defense in the first quarter, but Clark didn’t miss any court time. She scored 11 points (4-of-17 shooting, 2-of-13 3-pointers, 1-of-2 free throws), 8 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 turnovers.

2024 regular season: 19.2 points (7th in the league), 8.4 assists (1st) and 5.7 rebounds (18th) per game, along with 34.4% 3-point shooting (30th) and 90.5% free throw shooting (2nd).
