The New York Liberty aren’t done celebrating their stellar WNBA championship win. Thursday, the team appeared during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Ellie the Elephant was there, too.
As if you expected anything less, just weeks after having its parade, the Liberty made a fantastic appearance in another parade, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day edition. Three-time champ Breanna Stewart, Finals MVP Jonquel Jones, and Finals hero Nyara Sabally were on the streets of New York with the championship trophy in tow.
However, no appearance from New York is complete without help from its sassy counterpart, Ellie The Elephant. Ellie wore an excellent seafoam rain skirt set and danced in the street. You love to see it.
