Notre Dame landed a No. 3 in both the USA Today Coaches poll and the Associated Press poll, moving up from No. 5 in the Coaches poll and No. 6 in the AP poll.

AP has UCLA jumping all the way into the No. 1 spot after its big victory while the Coaches have UConn at No. 1 and UCLA at No. 2. UConn is No. 2 in the AP poll. South Carolina dropped to No. 4 in the Coaches poll and No. 5 in AP. Texas, which Notre Dame will host on Dec. 5, sits at No. 4 in the Coaches poll and No. 4 in AP.
Notre Dame’s Hannah Hidalgo earned Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week after her performance against USC. The 5-6 guard had 24 points, eight assists, six rebounds and five steals in that contest.
Before Notre Dame hosts Texas, the Irish are making a trip to the Cayman Islands Classic, where they will play TCU (No. 21 Coaches/No. 17 AP) on Friday at 5 p.m, followed Utah on Saturday at 5.
