3 Potential Trade Destinations For Flyers’ Morgan Frost

by admin

Philadelphia Flyers forward Morgan Frost has been creating plenty of chatter in the rumor mill as of late. It has been a tough season for the 25-year-old, as he has one goal, six points, and a minus-10 rating in 17 games. He also has just one point in his last seven games.

If Frost’s struggles continue, we could see the pending restricted free agent moved this season. But which teams could consider targeting him? Let’s discuss three of them now.

Chicago Blackhawks

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman recently discussed the possibility of the Chicago Blackhawks being a potential suitor for Frost. It makes sense, as they have been browsing the trade market for a center. In addition, with Frost still being only 25 years old, he could fit into their rebuilding plans if acquired.

If the Blackhawks acquired Frost, he would be a precise fit in their top six and power play. In addition, bringing in a pass-first forward like Frost could help the Blackhawks’ scorers heat up.

Nashville Predators

Things are going terribly for the Nashville Predators this season. They have a 7-11-3 record and have won only three out of their last 10 games. Because of their poor start, they have been actively browsing the trade market. They are looking for help down the middle, and Frost could provide them with that.

Frost would provide the Predators with another option to consider for their second-line center role if acquired. This is an area where the Predators could use an upgrade right now.

Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs would benefit by adding to their center depth, so a player like Frost could grab their attention. If acquired, Frost could be a solid fit in their top nine and would give them another player to work with for their second power-play unit.
