With the conclusion of Saturday’s action, it means that we now have only one week remaining in the 2024 SEC football regular season. As a result of that, it also means that we have only one week remaining until we find out which SEC teams will make it to Atlanta for the conference’s title game.
The conference standings also received some significant shake ups this past Saturday as well, as multiple upsets occurred across the SEC that affected the potential SEC title game outlook.
Here are the latest SEC conference standings coming out of Week 13:
Updated SEC Football Standings after Week 13
1. Texas (6-1)
2. Georgia (6-2)
T-3. Tennessee, Texas A&M (5-2)
5. South Carolina (5-3)
T-6. Alabama, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss (4-3)
10. Florida (4-4)
T-11. Arkansas, Vanderbilt (3-4)
T-13. Oklahoma, Auburn (2-5)
15. Kentucky (1-7)
16. Mississippi State (0-7)
Alabama’s loss to Oklahoma in Week 13 was a devastating one for their SEC Championship Game hopes, as the Crimson Tide would’ve had the inside track to Atlanta with a win, but are now out of contention entirely after the defeat.
At the moment, the Texas Longhorns are the lone SEC team with only one loss in conference play, and will be in Atlanta with a win Saturday against Texas A&M, with the same also said for the 5-2 Aggies. The winner of that game will play Georgia in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.
