The Iowa State women’s basketball team had no trouble with its lone opponent last week.
And after that easy win, the Cyclones stayed at No. 8 in the latest Associated Press poll released Monday.
Iowa State also was listed at No. 8 the previous week.
Following a busy first week, the Cyclones had just one game on their schedule last week, a showdown at home with St. Thomas. They quickly took care of business with an easy 80-47 victory to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Iowa State will face two tough in-state opponents this week. The Cyclones play at Northern Iowa on Wednesday and host Drake on Sunday.
