College football once again saw some wild results in Week 8, resulting in some changes at the top of the US LBM Coaches Poll. Of course, the Southeastern Conference found itself in the middle of the shakeup thanks to some exciting results.

The Oregon Ducks ascended to the top spot with a perfect 7-0 overall record and 51 first-place votes, followed by the Georgia Bulldogs who moved up to second with a pair of first-place tallies as well. The Penn State Nittany Lions, Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Hurricanes, respectively, round out the top five this week.

As for SEC schools in the poll, following the ‘Dawgs are the No. 6 Texas Longhorns — who lost to UGA last weekend — as well as the No. 7 LSU Tigers and No. 8 Tennessee Volunteers representing the conference in the top 10.

The Texas A&M Aggies come in at No. 14 with the Alabama Crimson Tide right behind them at No. 15, then the Missouri Tigers (No. 17), Ole Miss Rebels (No. 18) and the Vanderbilt Commodores, who snuck in at No. 25 in the rankings. No other SEC school earned votes this week.

Here’s a look at the complete Week 8 US LBM Coaches Poll.
