INDIANAPOLIS — Caitlin Clark is making more history, and she has good company.

The 2024 Rookie of the Year is also an All-WNBA first-teamer. It was expected after she came in fourth in MVP voting, and made official Wednesday. Clark is the first rookie to be named to the All-WNBA first team since Candace Parker won rookie of the year and MVP in 2008. She’s also just the fifth rookie to make it on the All-WNBA first team since 2000, joining Parker, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi and Fever legend Tamika Catchings.

Clark averaged 19.2 points per game as the Fever’s scoring leader in 2024, led the league with 8.4 assists per game, and added on 5.7 rebounds per game. She set the league single-season and single-game assist records, the rookie scoring record, the rookie 3-pointers made record, among others.

Of the 67 voters between local and national media, Clark got 52 votes for the first team and 14 votes for the second team. That means 66 of 67 voters had her on their first- or second-team ballots. She got 302 total points, putting her at fourth in the All-WNBA rankings — similar to the MVP final rankings.

Clark, along with other members of the All-WNBA first-team, will receive $10,300 each. Members of the All-WNBA second-team will receive $5,150.

The Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson, who was the unanimous MVP, and the Minnesota Lynx’s Napheesa Collier, the defensive player of the year, were unanimous selections to the All-WNBA first team. The New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart got 65 first-team votes and two second-team votes, and the Connecticut Sun’s Alyssa Thomas garnered 39 first-team votes and 20 second-team votes.

Rounding out the All-WNBA second-team was Sabrina Ionescu, Kahleah Copper, Nneka Ogwumike, Arike Ogunbowale and Jonquel Jones.
