Here are the top performers around Boone County high school football for week 7

Games with conference positioning implications were played out on Friday night. With that came sensational performances. Here are seven top performers who headlined Boone County high school football on Friday night. Brady Davidson and Drevyn Seamon, Rock Bridge: The Bruins quarterback shines in a conference title-clinching matchup

Rock Bridge’s Brady Davidson (2) launches the pass downfield

The Bruins star quarterback pieced together a sensational performance as Rock Bridge defeated Battle 49-12. Brady Davidson tossed for four touchdowns while rushing for another against the Spartans defense. Two of those scores went to offensive specialist Drevyn Seamon, who scored from 50 and 69 yards out through the passing game. Seamon also scored on a 10-yard rushing play in the second quarter. The Bruins victory clinched the CMAC title.

Caleb Sager and Trace Combs, Harrisburg: Six combined scores give the Bulldogs their first conference victory

The performances on Friday night by both Caleb Sager and Trace Combs exhibited their importance to Harrisburg football. On the first play from scrimmage, Combs raced 60 yards to the end zone, which was followed up by a 77-yard score, giving Harrisburg a 14-0 lead. Sager would score the next three touchdowns for the Bulldogs with touchdown runs of 54, 1, and 22 yards. As for Combs, he collected an interception on the defensive side while also firing a 77-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Ott, helping complete the Bulldogs first Central 8 Conference victory.

Dominik Abadi, Tolton: A dominant performance through the air helps Tolton to another 40-plus point performance

Dominik Abadi has excelled in his first year as starter for Tolton. The Trailblazers quarterback  threw for four scores in their 56-0 victory over Portageville. Three of those scores went to Sam Ryan while another went to Brooks Priesmeyer.

Ethan Ross, Centralia: The sophomore helps the Panthers start strong in an upset victory

South Shelby football came into Friday night undefeated. Until it ran into Centralia. The Panthers defeated the Cardinals 28-14 in Shelbina. For the Panthers, Ethan Ross rushed for two early scores, which gave the Panthers a 16-0 lead. He scored from both seven and 56 yards out.

Travers Hunolt, Southern Boone: The Hallsville defense couldn’t keep him out of the end zone in a rivalry matchup

Travers Hunolt just kept scoring in Southern Boone’s 48-28 victory at Hallsville. His first score came on a 23-yard screen pass, making it a 14-0 game in the second half. Hunolt’s three other scores came on the ground. He scored from 60 yards out on a 4th and 1, extending Southern Boone’s lead to 35-28. In the fourth quarter, he found the end zone from 3 and 6 yards out.
