The NASCAR Hall of Fame is an interactive entertainment attraction honoring the history and heritage of NASCAR. The high-tech venue, designed to educate and entertain race fans and non-fans alike.

Joining us on the show today with more on the activities and fun available to the visitors is, Sr. Director of Museum Affairs, Kevin Schlesier. “The goal of the facility is to honor NASCAR icons and create an enduring tribute to the drivers, crew members, team owners and others that have impacted the sport in the past, present and future” says Schlesier. He adds “we have so many visitors who appreciate the exhibits and interactive nature of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.”

There are several interactive venues at the hall that are popular with visitors. First, visitors can experience the Racing Simulator. Get behind the wheel of one of eight NASCAR stock car replicas outfitted with iRacing technology. The tracks are laser scanned, millimeter-accurate replicas of the originals. Visitors are also able to check out an updated spectator screen and a digital leaderboard showing the top times of the day.

Another fun “must try” the Pit Crew Challenge: jack up the car, change a tire with a real air gun and fill up the fuel tank. Challenge your friends to a head-to-head competition, compete in teams or complete an entire pit stop by yourself. “This attraction is so popular visitors, groups and friends have a blast competing against each other for time” says Schlesier.

Or maybe you may want to Broadcast the Action. Visitors don’t have to wonder what it’s like to Broadcast a race. Visitors can call a race from the booth or be a play-by-play announcer in the turns for the MRN crew. Announcing not your thing? Experience the thrill of being the Director of a broadcast as you push the buttons behind the scenes.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame also has something for gearheads too, the EngineAR Experience & Anatomy of aRace Car. See inside an engine through augmented reality with this award-winning exhibit or Take apart a virtual race car too see how the parts and pieces work.

There is so much to do and see. Enhance your NASCAR Hall of Fame visit with an interactive private Guided Tour, featuring the stories behind the heroes that have shaped the sport.

Hall storytellers take you behind the scenes throughout the building for an exploration of NASCAR’s history and heritage, detailing the specific cars and artifacts chosen for display, and sharing personal anecdotes and unique facts about inductees. For more information visit NascarHall.com.
