Unanimous WNBA MVP A’Ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces — along with WNBA unanimous Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark and the Indiana fever — are each heading into crucial game two’s in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Playoffs.

Here’s when the Aces and Fever will play the second game of their respective opening-round series.

When will Caitlin Clark play?

Caitlin Clark and the sixth-seeded Indiana Fever will play the third-seeded Connecticut Sun in a pivotal game 2 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut

That game tips off 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Caitlin Clark had a tough time in her WNBA playoff debut, connecting on just four of her 17 shots from the field, while being outplayed by Connecticut Sun guard Marina Mabrey, right, who scored a game-high 27 points.

In her first taste of WNBA Playoff intensity, Caitlin Clark also dealt with the sting of the first playoff loss of her young career, as the Fever were blown out by the Sun, 93-69.

Clark struggled to a stat line of 11 points by going 4-17 from the floor, to go with four rebounds and eight assists.

Clark and the Fever need to rebound fast, or this best-of-three series will be over after two games.

A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces look to close out the Seattle Storm

Game two of the Aces-Storm tips off at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday after the Fever-Sun game, and will also be broadcast on ESPN.

Caitlin Clark named WNBA Rookie of The Year

On Sunday, the WNBA announced Caitlin Clark earned unanimous Rookie of the Year honors, beating out Chicago Sky rookies Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese.

“Clark started all 40 regular season games for the Fever and had a groundbreaking debut year, marked by numerous WNBA records,” read the Indiana Fever’s announcement. “Clark finished the regular season leading rookies in scoring (19.2 ppg), field goals made (242), 3-point field goals made (122) assists (8.4 apg), steals (1.3 spg) and minutes (35.4 mpg).

“In addition to the rookie class, Clark topped the entire league in assists (337) and 3-point field goals made. Clark compiled the most points (769), assists and 3-point field goals made ever by a rookie in WNBA history.”
