Race day is always a great day in the NASCAR Cup Series, and Las Vegas will see it soon.
The NASCAR Cup Series is running the South Point 400 at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It’s the first race in the Round of 8 for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, and it should be an exciting one.
Fans are expected to pack the grandstands and catch the excitement of what promises to be a fantastic race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Remember to bring cashless payment, credit and debit cards or download your payment methods to your cell phone for easy transactions. This includes all merchandise areas and concessions.
No coolers allowed, but fans may bring snacks
Coolers are not allowed in the grandstands and terrace seating areas at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Fans may bring one non-alcoholic drink per guest through the gates, the beverage may not exceed 64 ounces and must be contained in a sports bottle, plastic cup or metal tumbler. Glass and ceramic containers are not allowed.
Fans may bring one food item per guest, which means a sandwich, crackers, chips or fruit — not a combination thereof. Family sized bags of food are not allowed.
Remember to bring sunscreen
Sunday’s race is looking to be a cool one at just 75 degrees, but the sun will be out in full force on a clear day. Remember the sunscreen to stay safe in the sun, despite the cooler temperatures.
Merchandise and souvenirs are everywhere
NASCAR drivers and teams will have merchandise trailers around the Fan Zone for fans to purchase before, during and after the race. The Speedway World Gift Shop is open throughout the weekend for fans to pick up Las Vegas Motor Speedway officially branded and other NASCAR merchandise throughout the weekend. Remember, everything is cashless.
Free parking is everywhere, but plan ahead
There is free parking surrounding the entire area at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for fans’ convenience. Which could pose issues for fans hurrying into the speedway. Fans are best to arrive to the track as early as possible to get prime parking spots. Also, make sure to remember where you park — find a landmark in the nearby area or set a pin on the maps app on your cell phone to remember where you park.
