The New York Liberty will face either the Minnesota Lynx or Connecticut Sun in the 2024 WNBA Finals.
The New York Liberty advanced to the championship series on Sunday after eliminating the two-time defending champion Las Vegas Aces, 76-62. The Sun forced a decisive Game 5 against the Lynx on Tuesday with a 92-82 Game 4 win in their semifinal series.
It marks back-to-back Finals appearances for the Liberty. New York made it all the way to the championship last year before losing to the Aces in the 2023 WNBA Finals. The Liberty are in pursuit of their first-ever championship. The Lynx last won it all in 2017, while the Sun are also looking to win their first title.
